Obituary

Wilma Greenberg (nee Hoffman), of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 at the age of 91. She is survived by her children, Elyse Joy Greenberg, Mark Jay (Saralee) Greenberg, and Joel Sander Greenberg; sister, Barbara "Kibby" (Mike) Peisach; grandchildren, Rabbi Ariel (David) Platt and Samuel (Katie) Greenberg; and great grandchildren, Hailey and Ian Platt, and Olivia Greenberg. Wilma was predeceased by her beloved husband, Herman "Hank" Benjamin Greenberg, and parents, Rose and Raymond Hoffman.

Wilma was very proud of being a Sinai Hospital Nursing School Graduate, homemaker, family cook, and collector of information. She was beautiful, had a radiant spirit, and was committed to her family.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD, 21208, on Thursday, May 12th, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Interment Bnai Israel Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Jewish National Fund, 78 Randall Avenue, Rockville Centre, NY 11570; or Beth El Congregation, 8101 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21208. The family will be in mourning at 4 Candlemaker Court, Unit 405, Baltimore, MD 21208, immediately following interment until 5pm, and then for services from 7-8pm. Friday receiving from 1-5 pm. Sunday receiving from 12-3pm. Guests attending the shiva house are required to wear masks and be vaccinated.
