Obituary

Weslie "Wes" Michael Berman, born Nov. 3, 1948 and passed away on Nov. 26, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend of Terri, nee Greco, for 42 wonderful years; loving father of Jeffrey (Lindsey) Berman; adored grandfather of Sloan, Lexi and Trey Berman; devoted son of the late Esther and Nathan Berman and grandson of the late Mary and Harry Bass; dearly beloved brother of Iris Newman (Edward Suffrin) and the late Sheila (Fred) Garvey; treasured uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Wes was an incredible athlete and ingenious marketer and salesman. After he put himself through college, Wes opened numerous businesses, including Sloan Hospital Supply. He was an innovator in the sales world and was one of the first to sell products via TV commercials, including the Roll-O-Matic Mop. Wes's greatest joy in life was his family. He will be dearly missed by childhood friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org. Chapel service Tuesday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
