Obituary

Wendy Lee Weiss, age 65, of Highland Park, beloved wife for 46 years of Ron Weiss; loving mother of Marcus (Rebecca) Weiss and Brandon (Andrea Fischlowitz) Weiss; adored grandma of Jack, Mika and Felix; devoted daughter of the late Manci and the late Fred Kaufman; cherished sister of Cathy (Alan) Gold; treasured sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Wendy was a docent with the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center and an active member of Women’s American ORT. Her family was the center of her being, and absolutely loved being a grandmother to her three beautiful grandchildren. Wendy was kind, generous, and made friendships with everyone she met. Service Friday, 2:00 p.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Block N. of Lake Cook Rd.). The service will be livestreamed on Wendy’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the Illinois Holocaust Museum, www.ilholocaustmuseum.org or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan), www.pancan.org.
