Obituary

Tony Freeman, 82 (December 24, 1939 – June 23, 2022), resident of Boynton Beach, FL and formerly Deerfield, IL. Beloved husband for 57 years of the late Jackie; loving father of Jay (Romi) Freeman and Andrew Freeman; beloved grandfather to Charlie and Frankie; caring uncle to Lisa (Charles) Mohler (nee Freeman), and Scott (Christine) Freeman, Diane (Doug) Campbell (nee Huechteman), and Denise Huechteman; cherished brother of Murray (Diane) Freeman and Dee Medrano (nee Freeman); and brother-in-law of the late Estelle Huechteman (nee Barron). Tony spent over 40 years working in the insurance and employee benefit industry, tailoring unique solutions for his clients to preserve their personal and business assets. He had a passion for cars since childhood, and instilled this interest in his children, attending auto shows with them for decades. Tony also had a love of cycling, participating in the Team in Training charity ride around Lake Tahoe, where he rode 100 miles in a day. He enjoyed downhill skiing, racquetball and swimming as well. Tony particularly enjoyed traveling, both with his family and friends, visiting Europe, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and many trips to Disney World, Colorado, Hawaii and Palm Springs. He valued his long-term friendships from the North Shore. May his memory be for a blessing. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
