Thelma Shaps, nee Fink, 88. Beloved wife of Harvey for 66 years; devoted mother of Bradley Shaps and Linda Shaps Shanin (Martin Shanin); cherished grandmother of Erica Shaps (Michael Doron), Jackie Shaps (Greg Sanders), and Jeff Shanin (Jamie Errickson Shanin); proud great-grandmother of Morgan Shanin; dear sister of the late Myrna (the late Bernie) Liebman; loving aunt of Mark and Beth Liebman, Robert, Michael and Larry Shaps, and the late Scott Shaps; caring cousin of Joanne (Alan) Vidinsky; treasured friend of many. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Congregation Beth Shalom Shaps Family Fund supporting programming for families with young children, 3433 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062. Chapel service Thursday, December 28, 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following at Shalom Memorial Park.
