Obituary

Terry B. Bercovitz, 74, unexpectedly passed away on February 5, 2024; beloved husband and best friend of Laura for over 51 wonderful years; loving father of Rachel (Krista) and Jennifer (Kevin); cherished "Papa" of Levi; loving brother of Neil (Ann) and Ellen (Neal); much loved uncle, great uncle and friend of many. Terry tried different careers, but decided to pursue his master's degree in education and found his passion was teaching secondary education science. He was an avid reader of espionage thrillers, loved all things history and science, was a huge Chicago sports fan, had a joy for gardening, and enjoyed adventure travels with Laura, but most of all Terry adored his girls and "shining star grandchild" Levi. His presence will surely be missed. In lieu of flowers donations to Make A Wish Illinois, www.wish.org/illinois or the Mother Jones Foundation, www.motherjones.com/support would be greatly appreciated. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
