Sylvia Asher, age 89, of Calumet City, Schererville, IN, and Skokie. Beloved wife for 57 years of Marvin Asher. Loving mother of Raymond (Elaine Jericho Asher). Loving grandma of Avi and Yoni Asher. Dear sister of Esther nee Ramnick and the late David Mandel. Sister-in-law of Faye (the late Isaac) Ramnick and Rae Asher. Daughter of the late Sam and Stella Ramanick. Sylvia was a dedicated nurse for 40 years. Graveside Service Wednesday, May 23, 2PM at Oakridge Jewish Cemetery, 4301 Roosevelt Rd., Hillside.
