Obituary

Stuart J. Kaplan, 84, passed away on May 4, 2025 in Irvine, California. Beloved husband and best friend of Roberta for 51 wonderful years; loving father of Roni (James III) Cafferty, Howard (Sarah) and Michael (Jen); cherished grandpa and "Poppa" of James IV and Samantha Cafferty, Sofia, Mars, Arthur and Elias Kaplan; adored son of the late Aaron and Ida Kaplan; much loved brother, uncle and friend of many. Stuart was a kind, loving , happy, and humble man who was a jack of all trades. He was a devoted family man. He will be dearly missed. Memorial donations in his honor may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, www.komen.org/donate. Graveside service, Sunday May 11, 2025; 11 AM at Shalom Memorial Park 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
