Sherwin David Goldberg, Age 78 and 3 days, also known as S. David Goldberg & “Sogie”, of Chicago, IL entered eternal rest on June 30th, 2021. Beloved father of Hollis Goldberg and Elizabeth (Todd) Marcus. Proud grandfather of Alexis & Myles Marcus. Cherished brother of Bette and recently departed Richard Kain. “Sogie” was an enthusiastic boater and an often recognized personality on the Chicago social scene who enjoyed dining al fresco whenever possible. He was an honest, successful entrepreneur providing health and life insurance to the Chicago community for 50 years. S. David had a large personality, quiet demeanor and warm heart. He was witty by nature and his indelible influence on his family and friends will persevere. Service will take place on Sunday at 11AM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment at Westlawn Cemetery.
