In Loving Memory of

Sherry Wolf Turney

July 12th, 2024

Obituary

Sherry Wolf Turney, 84; beloved wife of the late Robert Wolf and Edward Turney and is survived by Audrey, Denise and Marcia Wolf (the late Jean-Guy Deffense), stepson Matthew Turney (Ozlynn); grandchildren Robert Wolf-Deffense, Jake and Cody Blumenthal, Elizabeth Mercado (Rogelio), and great granddaughter Sally.

Sherry's loves were family, friends, everything water/sports and animals. Being the best Mom and Aunt were her passion (and she was the gold medalist in those sports). Sherry thought she was the luckiest to have the best of life-long friends that she cherished dearly. Sherry was loving, supportive, thoughtful and confident. Sherry made everything look so effortless, it was like watching her swim, with her perfect form. There wasn't a worry or stress in the world that could throw off her stroke in life. It's hard to imagine life without her, but luckily everything she was and stood for, lives on in her daughters and all those that were a part of her journey. We are so fortunate that Sherry left her mark on everything she touched.

In lieu of flowers, consider contributions to The International Wolf Center, wolf.org, Jewish Federation of Youngstown, jewishyoungstown.org, or ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), aspca.org.
