Obituary

Sherri Cohen, nee Silverman, 72. Beloved wife for 50 years to Dale; devoted mother of Bradley Cohen and Heather Cohen (Jason Bell); cherished daughter of the late Martin and Roberta Silverman; caring sister of the late Neil Silverman; dedicated cat-mom of Newton. Sherri was a treasured early childhood educator in the Chicago South Suburbs for more than thirty years. She struggled with myotonic dystrophy for many years, but never lost her strength and sense of humor. Sherri was patient, kind, and loving. She was incredibly proud of her family. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, www.mda.org.
