Sheri L. Rubens (nee Berniger), 50, April 24, 2023; cherished mother of Zack, Ashley, and Leah; loved wife of Jason; adored daughter of Howard (the late Myra) Berniger; wonderful sister of Jamie (David) Reiter; much loved aunt of Abigail and Marah Reiter; dear niece of the late Michael Chase; fond daughter in-law of Bonnie Stern and Larry Rubens. Sheri loved swimming, was highly involved in community groups, but her greatest passion was being a dedicated mother to her children. Memorial donations in her honor can be made to the Lauri S. Bauer Foundation for Sudden Loss, www.tulipsforlauri.org/donate or the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/donate. Chapel service, Friday, April 28, 2023, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
