Obituary

Sheila Chasen Inbinder, passed away at the age of 91, on December 17, 2023, in Glenview, IL. She was born in Chicago on February 20, 1932, to Sam and Lena Chasen. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and attended Wright Junior College. She met Richard Inbinder, the love of her life, in Chicago. They married in 1957 and enjoyed forty-eight years together until Dick’s death in 2005.  Sheila had a long career as a journalist, writing for suburban papers about the real estate industry. In addition to real estate journalism, Sheila especially enjoyed interviewing the many celebrities who passed through the Chicago area.
