Seymour "Sonny" Karoff, 92, beloved husband of the late Muriel "Bobbi", nee Cohen for nearly 70 years; loving father of Pam (Douglas) Harman, Michael (Amanda) Karoff and Andrea (Greg) Slocum; cherished grandfather of Jamie, Lesley, Steve and Meredith (fiancé Waseem); dear brother of the late Bernard; cherished brother-in-law to Ruth (the late Howard); beloved son of the late Edward and Jean, nee Steinkler; caring uncle of Alisa (Scott), Ilene ( deceased) and Sherry (Jay); playful Great GrandPaw of Chief, George, Rugby ,Pip. and Baxter; Lifelong connoisseur of Oreo cookies. Graveside service 1 PM Monday, April 24th at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.namiillinois.org) or The Greater Chicago Food Depository (www.chicagosfoodbank.org).
