Obituary

Seymour Goldwater, 87, passed away on October 14, 2024 surrounded by his family; beloved husband and best friend of Shirley (née Davis) for 45 wonderful years; loving father of Joel, Michael (Myra), Dawn Arnold, Heidi (Mark) Hilger, Scott Pool and Jonathan Pool; cherished grandpa of Adam Goldwater, Jacob Goldwater and Dillon Arnold; much loved great grandpa of Miri and Azi.; much loved brother of Leon (Charlotte) and Chelle (Jacob) Wilensky. Seymour loved playing cards, poker and gin; he was an avid reader of mystery and could always be found at the library. He loved skiing, hiking and camping but especially loved world traveling with his darling Shirley. Seymour was a "teddy bear' and always put Shirley and his family first. Seymour will be dearly missed. Memorial donations can be make to The Jewish United Fund, www.juf.org. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Chapel service, Wednesday, October 16, 2024; 1 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
