Obituary

Roza Khazina Hersher, 79, passed away January 1, 2025. Beloved wife for 31 years to Richard Hersher; devoted mother of Vlad (Irina) Altmark; proud and adoring grandmother of Gabby and Jeffrey Altmark; cherished daughter of the late Leyb and Esfir Khazin; stepmother to Erin Hersher and Laura Akins. Roza was an incredibly hard worker, retiring well into her 70's. She worked hard for her family - family was her focus above all. She will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Chapel service Monday, January 6, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd, Arlington Heights.
