Obituary

Rose Colombik, nee Ziegler, 99, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Rose lived a life of love, kindness, and devotion. She was the beloved wife of Robert; devoted mother of Keith (Shari) and Richard (Colleen); treasured grandmother of Bryan (Rozzie) Colombik, Stacey (Douglas) Lawrence, Jeremy (Diana) Colombik, Justin (Jason Sebacher) Colombik, and Samantha (Louie) Vittori; proud great-grandmother of Braden, Shoshana, Dylan, Matthew, Devon, Joselyn, Audrey, and Vincenzo; cherished sister of Helene Levine, David (Faye) Ziegler, and the late Morris (Alexandra) Ziegler; caring aunt, great-aunt, and friend of many.
Rose was an avid golfer and served as the Chairman of the ladies' Golf league. She donated her time to model in fashion shows, helped with Cub Scout packs, was an avid card player and crossword expert, and was a scholar, graduating first in her class. She also painted and knitted, won awards at art fairs, and was always generous with her time. Her dedication to these activities touched many lives and brought joy to those around her.
Rose was a wise soul with a quick wit. She looked years younger than her biological age and was active in attending balance classes up to the time of her passing. She took great joy and pride in her family and extended family and was married to Bob for over 80 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jewish United Fund, www.juf.org.
