Obituary

Ronald Martin, Age 82

The son of Ted and Mae Martin of blessed memory, Ron passed away peacefully on February 22 after courageously fighting congestive heart failure.

Nothing was more important to him than his family. Ron was immensely proud of his children and could often be found wearing their alma mater attire, beaming with pride. At the end of every phone call, without fail, he would say, "Kiss the kids for me" - a simple phrase that captured the depth of his love for his family.

Ron believed deeply in hard work and carried a strong work ethic throughout his life, yet he always made time for vacations and special moments with those he loved most. He also enjoyed American history, anything Disney related, and a baseball game on a sunny day.

He was the adoring husband of Feiga (Fran) Wasserman Martin for over 52 years. He was the loving father of Lindsay (Brian) Cohen, Matthew (Brenna) Martin, and Allie-Mae (Kevin) Davis. He was the proud Zayde of Eli, Leo, and Abe Cohen; Flynn and Josephine Martin; and Layla, Samuel, and Austin Davis.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bonna.

His funeral will be held at Shalom Memorial Park at 2:30 pm Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

In lieu of flowers or donations, please remember Ron and make someone you love smile.
