Rochelle "Shelly" Wasserman, 83, beloved wife of the late David; loving mother of Marty, Tamara and Joel (Robin) Wasserman; cherished grandmother of Jessica, Jordyn, Jake, Julie and Abigail; caring sister of Phyliss (Aubrey) Schwartz and the late Burton and Robert Levy; devoted daughter of the late Sam and Rose Levy. Shelly was born in Chicago on October 12, 1937. She attended Austin High School, graduated from Roosevelt University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, and earned her Master's Degree in Public Health from Saint Xavier University in 1997. Shelly was passionate about theater, music, art and travel. She loved to learn! Shelly was well loved by family, friends and neighbors and everyone who met her. She opened her heart and her home to people and animals alike.
