Obituary

Rochelle “Rocky” Meyer, nee Diamond, age 89, resided in Northbrook and Fort Myers, FL; beloved wife of the late Ivan Meyer; loving mother and mother-in-law of Michael (Mary) Meyer and Steven (Linda) Meyer; adored “Grandma Nutzky” of Alexandria (Greg), Ashley, Amanda, and Jeremy; proud great grandmother of Laszlo; devoted daughter of the late Lew and the late Florence Diamond; cherished sister of the late Marvin Diamond and the late Laurie (late Al) Klein; treasured aunt and friend to many. Rocky rode all over the world on the back of a Harley with her late husband Ivan. Together with her husband they created a thriving optometric practice. Her children and her grandchildren always came first. She was a champion worrier, thus lovingly getting the name “Grandma Nutzky” from her grandchildren. Services will be private. The family would appreciate donations in Rochelle’s name to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org. Info: The Goldman Funeral Group, www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com (847) 478-1600.
