Obituary

Robin Fern Weinstein, age 68, of Kenmore, NY, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025.
Born on September 29, 1956, in Kenmore, NY. Robin was the eldest of three children of Adele (Silver) Weinstein and the late Sanford Weinstein. Her life was filled with creativity, warmth, and deep devotion to her faith, family, and friends. Robin brought joy and authenticity to all she did, living each day with sincerity, compassion, and purpose.
Robin spent 22 years working at Jenss Department Store, where she was admired for her impeccable sense of style, dedication, and strong work ethic. A lifelong Buffalo Bills fan, she also had a deep love for the arts - especially crafting and designing unique holiday cards that brought smiles to those around her.
She was passionate about helping others, often quietly and without seeking recognition. Robin generously gave her time as a volunteer with My Sister’s Closet and the Holland Land Office Museum in Batavia, where she introduced Jewish holiday symbols into community celebrations, helping to foster greater understanding and inclusion. She was thankful to all people at DePaul that helped make it possible to thrive in the Batavia community and thankful for her time at Weinberg campus as a resident and volunteer.
Family was at the heart of everything Robin did. She cherished family gatherings and holidays and found great joy in staying closely connected with her nieces, nephews and cousins - whether through visits or regular FaceTime calls that bridged the miles between them. Her care, thoughtfulness, and vibrant spirit touched all who knew her.
Robin is survived by her mother, Adele (Silver) Weinstein; her brothers, Michael (Lisa) Weinstein; Sheldon (Waianne) Weinstein and and her beloved nieces and nephews: Brittany (Gabe), Danielle (Max), Ethan, Jonah, Lauren, Joshua, Sara, and Arlyn. She was preceded in death by her father, Sanford Weinstein.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Robin’s memory to DePaul Or Congregation Shir Shalom. (shirshalombuffalo.org/donations ) /
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday May 29, 2025 at AMHERST MEMORIAL CHAPEL LLC. 281 Dodge Road, Amherst, NY.
