Obituary

Robert "Bob" Morrison, 96, passed away on August 17, 2024. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Annette for 46 wonderful years; loving father of Gary (Sari Mintz) Morrison, Rayna (Rob) Bullock and Scott Morrison; cherished "Beauregard" of Mallory (Shannon) Cummings, Justine Sturmer, Maxwell (Haylie) Morrison, Paul (Laura) Sturmer and Alex Morrison; much loved great grandpa "Beauregard" to Willem Cummings, Harry Sturmer Kaiden Sturmer, Wesley Morrison and Sterling Morrison; adored brother of the late Patricia Brownstein; treasured uncle and friend of many. Bob was an avid antique collector and a traveling textiles salesman. He was drafted in the United States Army and then attended and graduated from the University of Chicago. He was the 1st college graduate in his family and was very proud of that accomplishment. He met his beloved Annette when he started his work career in Los Angeles. Bob was passionate about the textile industry and finally retired at 82 years old. He was an active member of Temple Beth El, but his greatest accomplishment was his family. Memorial donations may be made to the University of Chicago, www.crowdfunding.uchicago.edu/forms/give. Interment Private. Memorial service, Tuesday, August 20, 2024; 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
