Obituary

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we announce the peaceful passing of Robert "Bob" Block at the age of 95. He left this world surrounded by love and family-just as he lived every day of his long, beautiful life.

A proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Bob was the cornerstone of a large, loving family who will miss him dearly. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love - and that legendary head of hair he was always so proud of.

Now reunited with the love of his life, the late Anne (nee' Mink) for 48 wonderful years. Loving dad of Al (Debbie), Steve (Carol), and Andrea (Marty) Dickson, cherished "Poppa" of Eric (Annie), Carrie (Dave), Matt (Kate), Devon (Matt), Bryan (fiancé Michelle), Lisa (Andrew), Pam (Adam), Paige (Luke), adored "great poppa" of 14, loved uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to all.

Bob had a sharp wit and warm heart. He told the best jokes, played a mean hand of poker and blackjack, and somehow always left with a win-or a great story. He found joy in the little things: a full house (in cards and at family gatherings), a perfect punchline, and watching generations of family grow around him. He will be dearly missed.
