Obituary

Robert L. Bennett, 100. Beloved husband for 60 years to the late Gertrude, nee Libert; devoted father of Ellen, Marc (Delia), and the late Evan and Arnie Bennett; caring brother of the late Jerome (Ann) Bennett; cherished uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Robert's family would like to thank his caregiver Kathleen "Kay" Dagoy for her dedication and compassion.  Robert was a proud WWII Army veteran. He was a founding member of Skokie Valley Agudath Jacob Synagogue. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science, www.weizmann-usa.org. Chapel service Friday, May 15, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park.
