Obituary

Richard J. Sorman, Esq. 72

A fierce litigator and brilliant storyteller, Richard Sorman is survived by his loving children, Dana and Zachary Sorman, who inherited his passion and joie de vivre. After spending much of his life taking care of others, including his late wife Laurel (nee Benjamin), his late brother Bradley, and his late sister Bonnie, Richard can now rest in peace, knowing his torch has been passed to the next generation. Graveside service Monday 12 Noon at Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery, (Section 5), 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jewish United Fund, 30 S. Wells St., Chicago, IL 60606, www.juf.org, an organization close to the family's heart. As is true for many in the Chicago area, Richard met his wife Laurel at a JUF event and it changed his life forever. To attend the funeral live stream, please visit the website of Chicago Jewish Funerals - Skokie Chapel, 847.229.8822, www.cjfinfo.com.
