Obituary

Philip Jeffrey Nathanson, 75, proud parent of Stephanie and the late Meredith; devoted partner of Dr. Lori Anderson; beloved son of the late Stanley and Shirley, nee Goide; loving brother of Wendy Weisman and Andrea Nathanson. A Graduate of Evanston Township High School, University of South Florida, and Chicago-Kent College of Law. Philip had a great intellect and was a passionate lawyer. He was a lover of fine dining, and wine and could be found in a 5-star restaurant most nights of the week. That love began as a server at the world-renowned Bern's Steakhouse in Tampa, under Bern Laxer, in the early seventies. He also enjoyed political science and Constitutional research. Philip loved golf and proudly played on the professional golf satellite tour. Chapel service, Friday 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Entombment Beth Shearim Mausoleum at Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NOCC (National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, www.ovarian.org ).
