Obituary

Paula Kaufman-Dajani, 73, passed away on April 1, 2024. Beloved wife of Imad; loving daughter of the late Dr. Richard I. and Marian Kaufman; much loved sister of Shari (Harvey) Shapiro, Jo Ellen (James) Porges, Louis (Jill Garland) Kaufman and the late Steven Alan; dear sister in-law of Mohammad Dajani; devoted aunt of Marissa (Adam) Samit, Jason Shapiro, Jacob Kaufman, Rachel Kaufman and Rouba Dajani; dear friend of Raed and Huda Khatib. Paula enjoyed traveling, loved ballet, art and the theater. She was a generous, kind and caring person, with a great sense of humor and a laugh that was unforgettable. Paula treasured her friends and loved dogs. She was a talented and dedicated X-Ray Tech who loved her career. Family meant everything to Paula, especially her beloved Imad. Paula truly left a mark on the hearts of all she touched and she will be truly missed. Memorial donations in her honor can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/give. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Chapel service, Wednesday, April 3, 2024; 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
