Norman Nagel, CPA, age 79, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Northbrook, beloved husband of Judith “Judie” Nagel, nee Zidoff; loving father of Stuart and Gregory Nagel; devoted son of the late Sidney and the late Birdie Nagel; dear brother of the late Sheldon Nagel; fond brother-in-law of the late Barbara (Gerald) Lowell; treasured uncle and friend of many. Norm was lovingly cared by his cherished friend Iovanee “Ivan” Del Moro. Norm is also survived by Ivan’s daughters, Malia and Ellie, who called Norm, Papa, and he loved them as if they were his natural grandchildren. Norm practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for more than 40 years, He was a partner at Warady & Davis for more than 20 years, developing strong relationships in the real estate field, as well as, a wide variety of other businesses. He was respected because he played by the rules. What made Norm special was his innate sense of fairness. He never waivered from a challenge and defended what he believed. Never once after his accident did he express the typical, “Why Me?” He just kept on working to get stronger to do more. Finally, he instilled in his sons a strong work ethic, which is not seen too often today. Service Monday, 12 Noon CT at The Chapel, 195 N.
