Norbert Rosenthal, age 89

Beloved husband of the late Rosane Rosenthal nee Nusbaum. Dear father of Yael “Jeanette” (Yaakov Dov) Levy, Shulamis “Karen” (Eliezer) Halpern, Shmuel (Malky) Rosenthal, and Batya (Avraham) Alon. Brother of the late Zerline (Jack) Neuberger. Proud grandfather and great grandfather of many. Service Wednesday 9 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment Har HaZeisim. The Rosenthal children will be sitting Shiva together in Jerusalem at the home of Rabbi Shmuel and Malka Rosenthal. Shulamis (Karen) Halpern will be sitting with her sibling through Sunday night and will return to Chicago for the duration of Shiva, until Thursday morning.
