Obituary
Nicholas “Nico” Lucarelli, age 35, passed away on Tuesday, April 7. While his loss leaves an immeasurable void, there is comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his beloved brother, Chad—someone he missed deeply and never stopped grieving. Their bond was unbreakable in life, and now they are together again.
Nicholas was the beloved son of Steven and Joni, a devoted brother of Dr. Jeana (Kyle) Rybak; proud and loving “Uncle Nico" of Kennedy and Carter, who brought him endless joy and were the light of his life; devoted grandson of Adrienne and the late Anthony Lucarelli and the late Morey and the late Blossom Misles; and his companion and best friend, Lucky, who was always by his side.
Nicholas had a true passion for his work as a technician in a cardiac catheterization lab. He loved what he did, and the people he worked with loved him just as much. His kindness, dedication, and warm spirit made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He was a genuinely kind and loving man—never judgmental, always accepting, and endlessly compassionate. Nicholas had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. He treated others with respect and warmth, no matter who they were.
Family meant everything to Nicholas. He shared a special bond with his sister Jeana, especially through their love of music and concerts—memories that will be treasured forever. He never missed a moment with his niece and nephew, always showing up with love, laughter, and a smile that lit up the room. Nicholas was a truly kind soul, and his presence made the world a better place. He will be deeply and forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
