Obituary

Myron W. Perlman was born December 10, 1947 to Evelyn and Bernard Perlman. He died unexpectedly on December 19, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Dr. Anne Krantz, and loving father to Isaac Krantz-Perlman (Sarah Chambers) and Michael Krantz-Perlman (partner Elise Ericksen). He was the beloved brother to Bobbi (David) Brenner and the late Phyllis (Irwin) Javinsky; son-in-law to Miriam Krantz; brother-in-law to Rachel Krantz (Edward Goldstein) and David Krantz (Lisa Pemstein); and uncle to Caryn Javinsky (Derrick Roth), Steven Javinsky (Janice), Sharon and Ellen Makowsky, and Maya and Hannah Krantz. He was the great-uncle to David, Caleb and Ella, and a cousin to many special people. He was beloved by many cherished friends. Myron spent his life in Chicago, and graduated from Von Steuben High School and UIC. He worked as a union carpenter for four decades. He was active in social justice movements, and was committed to fighting for a more just world for all.
