Obituary

Minda Karon, age 74, of Morton Grove, IL; beloved sister of Samuel Karon and Martin (Marci) Karon, cherished aunt of Rina Karon, Zvi (Chaviva) Karon, Aharon (Olivia) Karon and Nadav (Chelsea) Karon, loving daughter of the late Arnold and the late Saretta Karon, great-aunt of Emunah, Michal, Pinchas, Penina, Noa, Gilad and Gabriel, adored niece and cousin of many. Incredible friend of Ty, Mary Jane, Eunice, Rocio, Lucy, Roz, Donna and others. Minda greatly appreciated all of Chris's help. Minda loved with all her heart her rescued huskies Mazel and Mitzi. She always preferred to give rather than to receive. Minda thoroughly enjoyed teaching. She spoke Spanish and was an advocate for the Spanish-speaking community throughout Chicago. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Jewish National Fund (jnf.org), Forever Husky (foreverhusky.org), or a charity of your choice.
