Obituary

Mildred “Millie” Kruglick, nee Hirsch, age 95, originally from the South Side of Chicago, but raised her family in Skokie, since 1958, beloved wife for over 50 years of the late Bernard “Bud” Kruglick; loving mother of Barbara (Edward) Sucherman, Louis Kruglick, and Fred (Teresa “Terri”) Kruglick; adored grandma of Dr. Daniel (partner Denae Frederick) Sucherman, Adam Kruglick, and Josh (Amanda) Kruglick; proud great grandmother of Nora and Haley; devoted daughter of the late Harry and the late Rose Hirsch; dear sister of the late Leonard (late Selma) Hirsch, the late Seymour (late Alice) Hirsch, and the late Shirley (late Bernard) Fefferman; treasured aunt and friend of many. Owned Elite Drapery for over 40 years with her husband, Bud. Elite Drapery was originally in Oak Lawn and later in Wheeling and Buffalo Grove. Millie had a passion and a gift for interior design and art, which was evident in her own home and countless residences over her 40 years in business. Millie absolutely loved her grandchildren and often took them to numerous museums to further their growth. She will be dearly missed by all.

Graveside service Friday, 10:30 a.m. CT at Westlawn Cemetery, Section E, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge. Millie’s service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
