Obituary

Michelle Faith Kaufman, nee Wizner, 85. Devoted mother of Margaret (Lee) Cohn, Jacob Kaufman (Daniel Martin), and Miriam Kaufman; cherished "Gramster" of Elli Cohn (Oliver Braunschweig), Aaron Cohn (fiancee Ellie Silesky), Rebecca (Aaron) Rosen, Ariel Kaufman, Josh Kaufman (Maria Sofia Peña), Gertie Bakalus, and Dixie Labow; proud great-Gramster of Adira and Boas Braunschweig; dear sister of Stephen (Rachel) Wizner and the late Scott Wizner; loving companion of the late Andrew Frank. Michelle was a beloved Hebrew teacher for many years, mainly at Am Yisrael Congregation. She was a talented artist who loved nature and being outdoors. Mostly, Michelle enjoyed her grandchildren, taking the prize of "best grandma ever", traveling and spending time with family. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mishkan Chicago, www.mishkanchicago.org. Graveside service Tuesday, June 17, 2 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W.
