Michael Steven Schumer, age 75, of Wilmette, beloved husband and best friend for almost 50 years of Risa, nee Muenz; loving father of Jessica (Shane Workman) Schumer and Laura (Brett) Hines; adored grandfather of Trevor and one addition coming; devoted son of the late Gussie and the late Sol Schumer; dear son-in-law of the late Mary and the late Nathan Muenz; cherished brother of the late Dr. William Schumer, the late Joseph (late Arlene) Schumer, the late Dr. Marvin (Nancy) Schumer; dear brother-in-law of Edith Schumer; treasured uncle and friend to many. Michael was a long-devoted Cub fan. He had a larger than life personality and will dearly be missed by all. Graveside service Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Section C., Skokie, IL. The service will also be livestreamed at Michael's page at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the charity of your choice.
