He filled many roles in our lives as husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, great uncle, and friend to so many. Michael loved being involved in everyone’s lives and stayed closely connected with friends and family daily.  He loved baseball and coached his son’s teams. Michael worked for the SEC and made some lifelong friends there as well. He retired to stay home and raise his boys who brought him much joy.

A 2x double lung transplant survivor, Michael, beat all the odds and fought hard to stay with us for the last 8 years. He is no longer suffering or in pain.
