Obituary

Michael N. Miller, age 84, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026 with his family by his side. Michael was the husband of the late Maureen Sandra (née Richter), with whom he shared over 45 years of marriage. He was a loving father to Stacie (Dr. Jason) Primer and Paul (Lindsie), and a cherished "Papa Michael" to Grant, Gabrielle, Benjamin, and Brandon. He was a brother to Howard, uncle to Alison King and Adam Barnett, and friend, confidant and counselor to many clients, family and friends over the years. Michael dedicated many years of his life to education, serving as a history teacher and high school guidance counselor before pursuing his passion of becoming an attorney. He proudly put himself through law school at night while working as a teacher to support his family, graduating from John Marshall Law School, and went on to build a career as a passionate and dedicated lawyer in private practice for over 35 years. He and Maureen were active members of their local synagogue, where Michael served proudly as head usher and a member of the ritual committee. Committed to helping others, he was actively involved with South Suburban PADS and the local food pantry, always striving to support those in need. Michael will be remembered as a husband, devoted father, grandfather, friend and counselor. His humor, kindness, dedication, and love for his family and community will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Memorial donations in his name may be made to Respond Now: Maureen S Miller Food Pantry, www.respondnow.org, or South Suburban PADS, www.sspads.org.
