Meyer Saltzberg, 95. Beloved husband for 32 years to Joanne, nee Brown and loving spouse of the late Gerry; dear son of the late Nathan and Rose; devoted father of Kim (Geza) Szucs and the late Frank Saltzberg; caring stepfather of Nikki Sacks, Holly (Ron) Ferris, Hara Ezell, and Steven (Jenn) Goldman; treasured grandfather of Lisa (Tony) Szigmond, Amy Szucs (fiancé Jeff Laabs), Anna Szucs, Nicole Saltzberg, the late Bryan Saltzberg, Jeremy (Tamara) Sacks, Jamie (Matt) Kraemer, Brian (Jeanne) Sacks, Christi Moeller, Matt (Sarah) Moeller, Cam Ezell, Carson Ezell, Michaela Goldman, and Josh Goldman; proud great-grandfather of 13; cherished brother of the late Edward (the late Marian) Saltzberg and the late Theodore (the late Yetta) Saltzberg and brother-in-law of Alan (Marilyn) Cordell and the late Michael (Carole) Brown; adoring uncle of Bruce (Marlene) Saltzberg, Terry Saltzberg (fiancé Michael Weisberg), Karyn (Mitchell) Liss, Sam (Frae) Saltzberg, Debbie (Arthur) Smerling, and Sharon (Alan) Matten; adored great-uncle, cousin, and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Friends of Magen David Adom, www.afmda.org, or a charity of your choice. Chapel service Friday, April 10, 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park.
