Obituary

Meyer Kaufman, 101, Holocaust Survivor, born in Poland July 11, 1920 to the late Henoch and Miriam; beloved husband of the late Mania, nee Goldstein; devoted and loving father of the late Howard (Wendy) Kaufman; cherished grandfather of Matthew and Elana. Meyer was a nursing home owner and long-time area contractor, uncle and dear friend of many. Graveside service 2:00 PM Friday at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Meyer, who lost his parents and 4 siblings in the holocaust asked that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center (ilholocaustmuseum.org).
