Max Jordan Chiswick, age 39, died in Tel Aviv, Israel on January 7, 2025. Cherished son of Ellen and Peter, adored brother of Lisa, treasured grandson of the late Joan and the late Richard Bresnik and the late Rose and the late Marks Chiswick. Beloved nephew of Howard (late Eve) (Ellyn Polsky) Bresnik, the late Jeffrey (Lynne) Chiswick and Vivienne Chiswick. Loved by cousins Lauren, Joel, Daniel, Dee Dee, Zoe, Ben, Mark, Goldie, Simon, Leah, the late Benjamin and the late Daniel (Jen). In Max’s unassuming way, he was an inspiration to all. Max was respected and admired by countless friends in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Tel Aviv and the whole world. A brilliant and curious mind, an intrepid traveler, a carrot connoisseur, a kind and giving humanitarian, a creative entrepreneur and a proud Jew. Max was an extraordinary, uncommon man who will live forever in our hearts. Service Thursday, January 16, at 12 Noon CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Block N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Max’s service will be livestreamed on his webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Westlawn Cemetery.
