Obituary

Mark Steven Glenner, age 65, of Buffalo Grove, Mark has been a pharmacy tech and a retail associate with Walgreens for almost 50 years. He was the beloved husband and best friend for 31 years of Elaine Glenner, nee Ritz; loving father of Robert Glenner; devoted son of the late Dr. Richard and the late Dorothy Glenner; cherished brother of Alison (Scott) Kassel; fond brother-in-law of the late Stuart Ritz; dear uncle of Amanda (Michael) Treis and Daniel Kassel and great uncle of Ashlyn; treasured nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Mark will be remembered for his outstanding character and integrity, his kind and gentle soul, and his strength and courage during his health challenges. He will be dearly missed by all. Service Monday, 10:00 a.m. CT at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Block N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Mark’s service will be livestreamed on his website at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
