Marge Fettman

Obituary

Marge Fettman 95, loving wife to the late Daniel Fettman z”l, devoted mother to Ricki Saltzman (Ira), Jack Fettman (Shonny z”l), Ebby Marell (Jonathan) and Ryna Greenblum (Roni), grandmother to 9 and great grandmother to 20 passed away peacefully on June 17, the first day of Shavuot.
Marge, a holocaust survivor, was born in Romania. After surviving the shoah, she and her husband were sent to Gary, Indiana where they built a flourishing business. They eventually moved the family to Lincolnwood, Illinois to be part of an observant community. Marge loved Israel and visited there often and encouraged this love to her children and grandchildren, four of which have made Aliyah. Her love of Torah and devotion to hashem were an inspiration to her and Marge was very happy that she was able to donate 2 Sefer Torahs. She was loved by all who met her and was always happy to give a bracha. Marge’s final resting place will be at Eretz Hachaim in Beit Shemesh, Israel.
