Obituary

Louis Marc Wolf, 72, beloved husband and best friend of Judy nee Rosenberg for 49 wonderful years; loving father of Joni (Scott) Sobel, Jill Wolf, Samantha (David) Pelerin; cherished Papa of Asher, and Skyla Sobel and Chloe, and Liv Pelerin; treasured brother of Roger and Norman Wolf; caring brother-in-law of Karen Rosenberg, Gail and Mike Niksic; devoted son of the late Raphael and Estelle; dear uncle, cousin, friend, and mentor of many. Louis began life in Chicago living in Rogers Park. He attended Stone Elementary and Senn High School. He also attended University of Illinois and graduated with a degree in Communications. He met his wife Judy at the U of I. For two years after graduation, he worked in advertising. After two years in advertising, he decided to work for his Uncle Herby at American Auto Parts. This was where Louis became the "King of Cores." He loved his job, especially all the people he met and worked with. He was a humble person and was adored by all. His greatest accomplishments were captain of his tennis team, President of his Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity at U of I. being a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was also a big music aficionado with a large collection of vinyl and CDs. He and Judy traveled all over the world and documented all his travels with beautiful photos. He will be sadly missed. Chapel service 2:30 PM Friday at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago (juf.org).
