Obituary

Lois Katz (nee Gononsky), of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, September 19th, 2021 at the age of 78. She is survived by her beloved fiancé, Harold Garson; daughter, Karen (Adam) Avrick and Lindsay Katz (Douglas Ragan); grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua, and Sydney Avrick; cousins, Nanci (Frank) Reinhart and Steven (Carol) Poland; and grand-pups, Raven, Jeffrey, Cody, Izzy, and Lulu. She was predeceased by her cherished parents, Lillian and Herman Gononsky.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Thursday, September 23th, 2021 at 10:30 am. Interment Beth El Memorial Park. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 22324, New York, NY 10087 or the Platelet Disorder Support Association, 8751 Brecksville Road, Suite 150, Cleveland, OH 44141. The family will be in mourning at 8531 Meadowsweet Rd, Baltimore, MD 21208. New York shiva plans to be announced.
