Leon Poteshman, 99. WWII Veteran. Served in the Army and was a “Ritchie Boy” on the French team. Also a member of the OSS and trained at Fort Ritchie, Maryland. Beloved husband for 69 years of Esther, nee Schwartz. Loving father of Marcy (Dr. Richard) Walovitch and Gary Poteshman. Proud grandfather of Ilana (Anthony) Seariac, Joshua Theodore (Jasmine) Walovitch, Ariel Walovitch, Alyssa (Matt) Shamis and Danielle Poteshman. Cherished great grandfather of Luke Seariac, Jack Seariac, Naomi Walovitch and Jacob Shamis. Dear brother of the late Alice Poteshman. Graveside service Friday, 1:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights, IL.
