Leonard Brownstein, age 94, of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Northbrook, former owner of Greenwood Liquors in Chicago; beloved husband of the late Doris Brownstein; loving father of Richard (fiancée Inez Ruzsa) Brownstein, Rhonna Bolton, and the late Barry Brownstein and also survived by Doris’s children Mitchell (late Arlene) Turoff, Robert (Cecilia) Turoff, and Janice Preston; adored grandpa of David (Kim), Robert (Brandi), and Sara Brownstein, Brittany Christopher, Nathan (Lizzy) Brownstein, Alison and Michael (Laura) Turoff, Corey Turoff, Katie and Kristina Preston, and Allison Rhoades; proud great grandfather of 7; cherished brother of Shirley Cohen and the late Paul and the late Samuel Brownstein. Graveside service Thursday, 11:00 a.m. CDT at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie. The service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
