Laurel Fran Jacobs, nee Karasik, a remarkable 99 years, of Lincolnwood, beloved wife of the late Alan Jacobs; loving mother of Terry (Jeffrey) Wilner, Ellen (George) Trauten, and Thomas Jacobs; adored grandmother of the late Meghan (Matthew) Bolon, Daniel Trauten, Julie (Benjamin Lewis) Wilner, and Jennifer (Eric Miranda) Wilner; proud great grandmother of Hannah Bolon, Link, Lex and Lock Lewis, Miles and Octavia Miranda; devoted daughter of the late Nathan and the late Mary Karasik; cherished sister of the late Marjorie (late Howard) Baker; treasured aunt of Stuart (late Janet) Baker, Robert (Jill) Baker, and Michael Baker. Laurel was a strong, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She split her time between her home in Lincolnwood and Boca Raton. Laurel always welcomed family and friends to her home. Graveside service on Tuesday will be private. Laurel’s service will be livestreamed on her webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday, March 31st from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Mission Hills Banquet and Events, 1677 Mission Hills Rd., Northbrook.
