Judith Forgash Ullman, 82, beloved wife of the late Dr. Julian Ullman; loving mother of Stacey (Jeffrey) Balkansky and Meredith (Richard) Weintraub; adored grandmother of Sam, Max, Jack, and Molly; cherished best friend and cousin of Jeffrey (Patricia) Liss, Harry (Marla Mogul and the late Joan Liss Jaffe) Jaffe, sister-in-law of Jerry (the late Sara Ullman), Bob Sutz (the late Lea Ullman Sutz), preceded in death by her brother-in-law Marvin Ullman and sister-in-law Jan Krafsur Ullman; treasured aunt to Blair (Joshua) Klein, Barbara Liss, Michael Jaffe, Debra (John) Thomas, Edward Sutz, Frances Sutz (Jon), Howard (Alison) Sutz, Raeanne (Rob) Sarazen, Debra (Scott) Baker, Michael (Megan) Sutz, Jonathan Ullman and Matthew (Catina) Ullman; much loved daughter of the late Milton and Sara Forgash, devoted daughter-in law to the late Sonia (nee Hackman) and Robert Ullman. Dear friend and confidante to many. In her career as a speech and language pathologist, Judy helped children and adults overcome obstacles. She was an active member and former President of the Infants' Aid Charity. Judy loved knitting, reading, going out to lunch with her many dear friends, and spending time with her beloved family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Infants' Aid of Northwestern Memorial Foundation, nm.org/infantsaid or Temple Sholom of Chicago, 3480 N. Lake Shore Dr., Chicago, IL 60657. Chapel service Friday, May 8, 12:15 pm at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment at Shalom Memorial Park.
