Obituary

Josie Telman, nee Maimon, age 94, of Deerfield, formerly of Riverwoods and raised her family in Skokie; beloved wife for 70 years of the late Eddy Telman; loving mother of Jan Berman and Nancy (Dr. Mark Silverberg) Block; adored Nannie of Dr. Adam Berman, Lizzie (Christina Cox) Berman, Andrew Block, and Jeffrey (Kara Nichols) Block; devoted daughter of the late Joseph and the late Rizpah Maimon; treasured and loyal friend to many. Josie was a long-time member of Twin Orchard Country Club and had an excellent “short game.” She was so kind and classy, and instilled the virtue of being kind and thoughtful upon her daughters and grandchildren. Her greatest joy of all was being surrounded by her family. Graveside service Sunday, 2:30 p.m. CT at Shalom Memorial Park, Rand & Wilke Rds., Arlington Heights. The service will be livestreamed on Josie’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
