Obituary

Jodi R. Friedman, nee Rubenstein, age 67, of Buffalo Grove, she grew up in a beautiful and nurturing home in Skokie and attended Niles North High School. Jodi was a devoted daughter of the late Seymour and the late Rachel Rubenstein; loving sister of Cheryl (David) Auerbach; adored aunt of Sam and Shelby Auerbach; treasured friend of many. Jodi was a loving, caring, good-hearted, and extraordinary daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was a confidant to countless individuals. Jodi had cherished lifelong friendships that transcended time and distance, but she also had more recent friendships too. Jodi’s true “happy place” was at the beach and following most sports, especially her beloved Cubbies and hearing the words, “Cubs Win!”.
